Jürgen Wrobbel

Jürgen Wrobbel (1958) has been a member of the Supervisory Board at COMPIRICUS AG since 2011 and Chairman of the Supervisory Board since 2012.

After obtaining a degree in economics with an emphasis in accounting and computer science, he began his career at the WestLB Group. Then, after holding various posi­tions in the areas of IT development and mergers and acquisitions, he worked in the securities business and became Managing Director of WestLB Asset Management investment company. He gained experience in the international arena as global Head of Operations at WestAM.

In 2002 he began working for Talanx insurance group and became Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of the asset management companies for the group. Since 2009, Jürgen Wrobbel has advised the senior management of investment and asset management companies in strategic and operative issues. His focus lies in the areas of operations, securities services, and their IT systems.

Prof. Dr. Alexander Pocsay

Prof. Dr. Alexander Pocsay (born 1953) has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at COMPIRICUS AG since December 2014.

At Saarland University in 1979 he gained his degree as a mathematics graduate in Mathematics and Business Economics. In 1987 he took a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Law and Economics at Saarland University. In 2000 he was appointed as Professor by the then Minister-President Peter Müller.

After his studies Prof. Dr. Pocsay initiated his professional career in the IT/Organization Division of a pharmaceutical company. From 1981 to 1985 he worked as a researcher at the Institute for Information Systems (IWi-Institut für Wirtschaftsinformatik) at Saarland University.

As from 1985, he presided over IDS Scheer (IDS Prof. Scheer Gesellschaft für integrierte Datenverarbeitungssysteme mbH) in Saarbrücken as sole CEO and Co-partner. After the transformation of the company into a Stock Corporation he retained the position of sole CEO until 2009. Since 2000, Prof. Dr. Pocsay has been acting as a Management Consultant and Coach, Investor and Member in the Management of the Business Angel Network Saar. At the same time he is member of several Supervisory Boards and occupies Advisory Board Mandates.

Thomas Müller

Thomas Müller (born 1967) has been a member of the COMPIRICUS AG Supervisory Board since 2020.

After studying economics at the University of Cologne with a focus on production management, marketing and computer science, he took the plunge into self-employment in 1992 by founding his own company. The company Avantgarde Business Solutions GmbH specializes in the introduction of ERP solutions for medium-sized companies.

In 2000, the product Damgaard Axapta, an ERP solution with an international focus, was added to the portfolio, the basis of today's cloud-based company platform Dynamics 365 FO & SCM from Microsoft. With the increasing success of the Microsoft Dynamics solution in 2015 under the leadership of Thomas Müller, the spin-off of the Microsoft Business and the integration of two other Microsoft partners alnamic AG was established. In the role of CEO, he was responsible at alnamic AG for the further expansion of the company into one of the leading Dynamics 365 FO & SCM partners in Germany.

In 2019, alnamic AG became part of Avanade Deutschland GmbH, a subsidiary of Accenture, as part of a strategic sale. The integration and merging into Avanade took place under Thomas Müller's leadership. With more than 39,000 employees worldwide, Avanade is the leading provider of services based on Microsoft technologies and applications. Thomas Müller is responsible for the “ERP Offering” in Avanade today and continues to be a partner in Avantgarde Business Solutions GmbH.
