II. General Information About Data Processing

We inform you below about processing of personal data when you visit our website. Personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "data subject"). This includes your name, address or e-mail address.

1. Informational Use

If you merely visit our websites, do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we will only collect the data that your browser automatically transmits to our server. These are temporarily stored on our servers.

The following data is collected here:

These data are technically needed to show you the website and to ensure our website security. We evaluate these data exclusively for statistical purposes in order to remedy possible technical errors and, if necessary, identify and ward off attacks and security risks. The legal basis for temporary storage of data and log files is our legitimate interest in the security and stability of our website (Article 6 (1) (f) DSGVO). The interest of the user is taken into account by the fact that the data is not used for their identification.

1. Use of Cookies:

a. Transient Cookies

As far as this information about communication channels (for example, e-mail address, telephone number), you also agree that we may also contact you via this communication channel to answer your request. We delete the data that arises in this context after the storage is no longer required, or limit the processing if there are statutory retention requirements.

V. Application Process

If you apply to us, we need your personal data to process your application for the purpose of carrying out the application process.

Your application documents will normally be stored for a period of six months, unless you have expressly given us your consent to a longer storage of your data or to the conclusion of a contract.

Should it come after your application for establishment of an employment relationship takes place according to § 26 Abs. 1 S. 1, BDSG, a transfer of your data and documents into the personnel file for the purpose of carrying out the employment relationship.

You are neither legally nor contractually obliged to provide us with your data. However, this data is required for deciding your application. Without this information, the application process and a possible recruitment cannot take place.

VI. Newsletter

With your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para 1 a GDPR you can subscribe to our newsletter, which we use for providing you with the latest information about the COMPIRICUS Group activities three to four times a year, particularly highlighting products, current developments, events and publications.

To subscribe to our newsletter, you just need to send us your email address. If you agree to the newsletter being personalized (for instance with a personal salutary address) you are welcome to enter appropriate additional information in the registration form.

For registration to our newsletter we use the so-called double-opt-in process. This means that after you register, we send an email to the email address you entered, requesting you to confirm that you want us to send you the newsletter.

Your data are not passed on. The data are exclusively used for sending the newsletter. Apart from the email address and if necessary additional data from the registration form, when you log in the IP address of the accessing computer and the date and time of the registration is transmitted. Your consent for the data to be processed is obtained within the course of the registering process and you are notified about this privacy policy.

Obtaining your email address enables us to send you the newsletter.  Collecting other personal data within the course of the registering process enables us to personally address you and prevent an abuse of the services or the email address that was used.

By registering for our newsletter, you agree to us monitoring your click and access behavior to enable you an optimal offer of our newsletter dispatch. Insofar as we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time without this affecting the legitimacy of previous data processing. If you withdraw your consent, we stop the respective data processing.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can also simply cancel it at any time, for instance by sending an email to or via the link for cancelling the newsletter, which you will find in every newsletter email.

The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for achieving their intended purpose. Your email address is consequently only stored as long you are subscribed to our newsletter.

VII. Website Analysis

For purposes of analyzing and optimizing our websites, we use various services, which are presented below. So we can, for example, analyze how many people visit our site, what information is most in demand, and how people find it. Among other things, we collect data on which website an affected person came to a website (so-called referrer-URL), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for which length of stay a subpage was viewed. This helps us to design and improve our offers in a user-friendly way. The data collected is not intended to personally identify individual users. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Usage includes the Universal Analytics operating mode. This makes it possible to assign data, sessions and interactions across multiple devices to a pseudonymous user ID, thus analyzing the activities of a user across devices.

Google Analytics uses cookies that allow you to analyze the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is enabled on this site, Google will truncate your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Analysis by wiredminds

Our website uses a counting pixel technology provided by wiredminds GmbH ( to analyze visitor behavior.

If necessary, data is collected, processed and stored, from which user profiles are created under a pseudonym. Wherever possible and reasonable, these usage profiles are completely anonymized. DoubleClick by Google

We use DoubleClick, a service provided by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve user-based ads. Using the DoubleClick cookies allows Google and its affiliate websites to serve ads based on previous visits to our or other websites on the Internet. The cookies recognize which ad has already been displayed in your browser and whether you have accessed a website via a switched ad. Affected persons are all users of our online offer. Legal basis for the use of Google DoubleClick is our legitimate interest in optimizing our offer and the economic operation and promotion of our business through advertising, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

IX. YouTube

For the inclusion of YouTube videos, we use the so-called "extended privacy mode" of the provider. Playing the video requires the transmission of the user's IP address to YouTube. Without the IP address, YouTube could not send the content to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore required for the presentation of this content. When you visit the website, YouTube integration also connects to the Google DoubleClick ad network.

We endeavor to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we do not have any influence on this if the third parties provide the IP address e.g. save for statistical purposes.

X. Google Tag Manager

For the sake of transparency, we point out that we use the Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager does not collect personally identifiable information. The Tag Manager makes it easier for us to integrate and manage our tags. Tags are small pieces of code that can be used, among other things, to measure traffic and visitor behavior, track the impact of online advertising and social channels, set up remarketing and audience targeting, and test and optimize websites. XI. Social Bookmarks

On our web pages we offer you the possibility to call up the respective current page in social networks (Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn). These are only included on our website as an external link to the corresponding services, After clicking on the integrated graphic you will be redirected to the page of the respective provider, i.e. only then will user information be transmitted to the respective provider. XII. Management of our social media channels with Hootsuite

We manage our social media channels with Hootsuite, HootSuite Media Inc, 37 Dunlevy Ave, Vancouver, BC, Canada V6A 3A3. Hootsuite allows you to manage social media channels across platforms, schedule, publish and analyze posts. Hootsuite processes data uploaded by users on social media channels or shared and made public by sharing and liking posts. We use the portal for our appearances on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

The processing of this data is based on sec. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR and pursues our legitimate interests in the most efficient and successful company presentation possible on various social media channels.

XIII. Data Transfer

We work with service providers who take on the technical and content-related tasks of providing our website. These include services such as hosting and maintaining our website. Currently the following service providers are used:

Rights in the processing of data according to legitimate interest
