Düsseldorf, 25. March 2020

“By participating in the Great Place to Work® competitions, we regularly check the effectiveness of our measures to increase employee satisfaction and are therefore particularly pleased to be ranked among the best employers in ICT for the fourth time in a row, thus receiving confirmation of our HR work,” said Michael Mansen, Chief Human Resources Officer.

“The award stands for credible management that works fairly and respectfully with employees, for a high level of employee identification and for a strong team spirit in the company,” said Andreas Schubert, Managing Director at Great Place to Work® Germany, at the award ceremony.

COMPIRICUS received further awards in the categories “Best Employer in North Rhine-Westphalia”, “Best Employer in Small and Medium-Sized Businesses” and “Best Employer in ITC System Houses” for its special commitment to creating a trusting and supportive culture of cooperation within the company as well as good and attractive working conditions.

Framework information on the “Best Employer in ICT” competition

The basis for the evaluation was a detailed anonymous survey of COMPIRICUS employees on central workplace topics such as trust in management, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, professional development opportunities, compensation, health promotion and work-life balance. In addition, management was surveyed on supportive HR measures and offerings in the company. The results of the two internationally proven survey instruments (Great Place to Work® employee survey + culture audit) were weighted in a ratio of 2:1; the focus is therefore on the direct assessment of employees.

Companies of all sizes and industry segments took part in the current Great Place to Work® industry competition “Best Employers in ICT 2020”. They voluntarily submitted to an assessment of the quality and attractiveness of their workplace culture by the independent Great Place to Work® Institute and the verdict of their own employees. The list of the best employers was determined from the overall field of participants (benchmarking differentiated by company size). All participants benefited from the differentiated assessment and the impetus for further development as a good and attractive employer, regardless of their position on the best list.

Partners of the Great Place to Work® industry initiative launched in 2013 and the “Best Employers in ICT” competition are the digital association Bitkom, the trade magazine “Computerwoche” and the IT portal “ChannelPartner”. The umbrella is the cross-industry competition “Germany’s Best Employers,” which has been held annually since 2002.
